Welcome to Brodzig’s Dog Training. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Information
1.1 Brodzig’s Dog Training provides dog training and behaviour services in the UK, including group classes, 1:1 training, behaviour consultations and workshops..
1.2 These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients, bookings, website users, and visitors.
1.3 We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always appear on this page.
2. Training Ethos & Welfare
2.1 We use modern, force-free, reward-based training methods.
2.2 The use of choke chains, prong collars, electronic/shock collars, aversive tools, or physical punishment is strictly prohibited.
2.3 Dogs’ welfare and comfort are prioritised at all times. If a dog is stressed, unwell, or unable to cope, trainers may pause or adapt the session for safety.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 You must disclose any behavioural issues (reactivity, aggression, fear, bite history) prior to booking.
3.2 You are responsible for supervising and controlling your dog at all times unless directed otherwise by a trainer.
3.3 Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
3.4 You agree not to allow dog-to-dog interactions unless approved by the trainer.
3.5 You must clean up after your dog in all training and outdoor areas.
4. Health & Vaccinations
4.1 All dogs must be up-to-date with core vaccinations or hold a valid titre test. (evidence such as vet card or letter is required at booking or by first session)
4.2 Dogs showing signs of infectious illness (e.g., diarrhoea, vomiting, kennel cough) must not attend training.
4.3 If a dog attends while ill, you may be asked to leave for the safety of other dogs—this will not qualify for a refund.
5. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
5.1 Payment
- Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
- Spaces in classes are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
5.2 Cancellations by the Client
- 1 week or more before Booking → Full refund.
- 24hours or less before Booking → 50% refundable.
- Less 24 hours → Non refundable
- Missed group classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled individually.
5.3 Cancellations by Brodzig’s Dog Training
- If we must cancel a class or session, a full refund or rescheduled appointment will be offered.
- We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the client.
6. Behaviour Consultations
6.1 Clients seeking behavioural help must provide full and accurate information.
6.2 Cases involving aggression, bites, or complex behaviour may require referral to a veterinarian or clinical behaviourist.
6.3 Dogs with a bite history may be required to wear a Basket Muzzle (introduced via positive training).
7. Safety & Liability
7.1 Training involves risk. By attending, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and actions.
7.2 You agree to follow all trainer instructions for safety.
7.3 Brodzig’s Dog Training is not liable for:
- Injury to any dog or person caused by another dog
- Damage to property caused by your dog
- Any loss resulting from failure to follow instructions
7.4 You are responsible for ensuring your dog is physically fit for training.
7.5 Dogs remain the owner’s responsibility at all times.
8. Use of Facilities (if applicable)
8.1 Clients hiring secure fields or training spaces do so at their own risk.
8.2 Gates, doors, and equipment must be left secure and in good condition.
8.3 You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog.
8.4 Please remove all waste and personal items before leaving.
9. Media & Photography
9.1 We may take photos or videos during training for progress tracking or marketing.
9.2 If you prefer not to appear in media, please inform us before your session.
9.3 Clients may not film or photograph other people or dogs without consent.
10. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)
10.1 We collect only necessary personal information for bookings and service delivery.
10.2 Data is stored securely and never sold to third parties.
10.3 You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.

11. Complaints
11.1 Informal concerns should be raised with the trainer as soon as possible.
11.2 Formal complaints may be submitted via email to bryonyjbrodzig@gmail.com.
11.3 We will acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and respond after fair investigation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or attending any service offered by Brodzig’s Dog Training, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
