Meet Bryony Brodzig, Your Dog Trainer

How a little 'Frenchie Revolution' inspired Brodzig's Dog training

Bryony is a mother of two and chronically ill. Life was getting her down, until 2021 when a tiny French Bulldog came into her life. Giles was a much loved addition to the household but he had a greater purpose. Giles was to become an Assistance Dog.

While Bryony had grown up with dogs and done animal care courses that looked at behaviour and training theory it was during this early time with Giles she started to find a true passion in dog training. Researching the most up to date and science backed training methods helped her not only train Giles but helped her get a training position with the amazing Canine Allies. In February of 2025 Giles fully qualified through their program. Bryony was supported in this time to become an experienced dog trainer via top quality mentorship and formal education via the dog training colleges many qualifications.

After gaining confidence training assistance dogs and Giles helping to manage her health while making the world accessible to her once more, she ventured on opening Brodzig's Dog Training in 2025 to help more dogs.

Training and Qualification

Bryony holds many hours CPD certified training in dog training through the Dog Training College,. Also Bryony gained a diploma in Animal care and Welfare.

Our Training Centre

Brodzig’s Dog Training proudly opened its dedicated training centre on 5th January 2026 in Weymouth. This lovely, purpose-built space allows Bryony to support more families and dogs with a wider range of training needs in a calm, structured environment.

The centre also makes it possible to run more social and stable clubs, helping dogs build confidence while strengthening a genuine sense of community among local owners in Weymouth and the surrounding areas.
